Gandatantra

We were all prepared for the contingency

That used to haunt our fantasy,

it was all about people and their rights

the acts against a cruel system which was a fright.

Today the day has come with all its charm

where we "the countrymen" are smiling and so calm,

Singing the glory of our endurance

Welcoming gandatantra we are with our perseverance.

What an intriguing history we have made

as we ended up 238 years lengthy  race,

where "His Majesty and Monarchy" stood as sage

and we poor people worshiped them as great god fame.

But that time has been retrograded 

no more the tears and pains on people's faces dissimulated,

we crossed the boundaries of limitation

our sanity exploded in unity for our emancipation.

Our contribution for the kingdom is redeemed

As the cruelty and empty kitsch of monarchy have been condemned,

The sacrifices made by our great warriors

Are heartedly revered today by slavating "Nepal Mother".
